BSE Sensex,Nifty Trade in Downside & Live Market Updates 4 June 2014

The BSE Sensex declined 52.76 points to close at 24805.83 while the NSE Nifty held 7400-mark for the second consecutive session, down 13.60 points to 7402.25.BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices gaining close to 2 percent.

The markets started the on a opened note, with a gap of 51-odd points at 24,909, following last two days of smart rally of 641 points.The BSE Sensex soon touched a high at 24,926, but could now sustain gains for and long and slipped into negative zone, owing to weakness in IT, oil & Gas and pharma shares.
